Ask not why nobody is doing this. You are the “nobody”!
This logo was actually a draft for a project I was creating for a previous teacher at PLU. In the process of coming up with different ways to represent the letter “L” I kept thinking of the right angle made between a thumb and pointer finger. This led me to make a bunch of different sized hands, which looked like they were all being put into a sort of huddle. This companionship and team spirit attitude I got from that led me to think of the word “legion” to represent the army of hands I had now created.
I think that this logo would work pretty well as a consulting firm’s logo. It really screams teamwork to me. Looking back on it now, I think the only thing I would change would be the font of the word “legion” because this one kind of reminds me of Grand Theft Auto. Overall, here I was able to play with color a bit before deciding that blue was a pretty good fit. I think it gives it a little bit more of a cool profile and fits the look better than some more aggressive colors like red or orange.
