Rusty Lake is an indie game studio based in Amsterdam, founded by Robin Ras & Maarten Looise. Since spring 2015 we have developed 13 surrealistic adventure games that take place in the Rusty Lake universe. Inspired by the humor and uneasiness of David Lynch’s TV series Twin Peaks we decided to create our own imaginative universe called Rusty Lake.

Inkle is an independent narrative game company, founded in 2011 by two Cambridge game developers. They are notable for 80 Days, which was Time Magazine’s Game of the Year in 2014 and received four BAFTA nominations. They also created ‘’inklewriter’’, an online tool for creating interactive fiction.

You’re a detective, and a frog, and it’s time to solve a mystery.

Grace Bruxner is an independent Australian developer. Her game’s writing and humor was praised by reviewers — she’s like really funny. She took around five months to develop her first game, aimed to subvert the detective genre, using original take on gameplay to create comedy due to the mismatch in tone. Additionally, she tried to avoid writing characters that relied on offensive stereotypes. Her second game was partially funded by the creators of Superhot .

Simogo is a Swedish video game developer, located in Malmö. They don’t make games in a specific genre. In fact, they’re not overly concerned about whether or not they are games. The company was founded in 2010 and is best known for creating games for mobile devices. Prior to Simogo, founders Simon Flesser and Magnus “Gordon” Gardebäck worked at Southend Interactive.
