How to isolate your browsing experience from Facebook

Facebook is watching you and you may want to avoid that. The reason for that may vary, however, since you are here most probably you already have your own. Let me show you how do I do it.

Google Chrome has a nice feature called profiles. You can create multiple profiles, each profile has a separate… well, everything. Browsing history, autofill information, cookies, bookmarks…

All you need to do is to create a new profile for day-to-day browsing and continue using old profile only to visit Facebook. Make sure to not log in to Facebook in your new profile.

As you can see I have a separate profile for development. The good thing is that different profiles have its own extensions enabled. So, I don’t overload my day-to-day browsing profile with my development extensions and vice versa.
