Why I Want to Visit South Korea

I believe South Korea is one of the most beautiful countries and cultures in the world. I do really want to have a trip to this country, or even living in there! It all started with my habit of watching Korean dramas, then it occurred to me that I wanted to go on vacation there. Here are reason why I want to visit South Korea.

Firstly, the food culture is an experience unlike anywhere in the world. Based on the Korean drama I’ve watched, or in my favorite Korean youtube channel, in Korea eating out is an all-night. Various famous places to eat in Korea are barbeques, chicken restaurants, small stalls selling tteokbokki, corndog, kimchi and sundae, and the Subway Restaurant. In contrast to Indonesians, Koreans are accustomed to eating chicken without rice. They consume all kind of noodles as well. The majority of meals, no matter where you go or what you order, come with an unlimited variety of side dishes (banchan), including as rice with meat, a whole fish, an egg, kimchi, soup, and tofu.

Second, the cafe and convenience store is booming and fun. Cafes and minimarkets in Korea are widespread everywhere. One of the unique things in Korean convenience store is that they serve very complete food, such as onigiri, odeng, noodles that can be cooked there, sweet drinks and ice cubes. We can mix the drinks we want ourselves, then we can also heat ongiri and other foods. Korean convenience stores also provide toppings such as cheese, sausage and sauce. The cafes there not just unique, but is also have aesthetic venues on offer and have a beautiful view like city streets and cityscape.

Last but not least, contemporary Korea is exciting, entertaining, and moving quickly towards the future. The cities of Korea are home to some luxurious new hotels and striking modern construction. It is evident from the towering skyscrapers in Seoul and Busan that these are two cities that are heading swiftly into the future. We may go to Lotte World Tower, which is located 541 meters above ground and connects the tower’s two spires. A stroll around Gangnam and Haeundae Beach is also an option.

South Korea keeps me on my toes, expecting the unexpected. I wish I could be here, someday.
