BMW to Host Diversity Conference for Suppliers

BMW Manufacturing is hosting the BMW Supplier Diversity Matchmaker Conference in line with its belief that diversity among its supplier base is important to their business. The conference will be held on April 3–4 at the Greenville Convention Center.

On its website, the South Carolina Department of Commerce stated that the 2019 conference will be a “great platform for South Carolina businesses to connect with BMW leadership and build relationships with other automotive suppliers.”

Aside from the conference, attendees may also register for the plant tour and the opportunity to drive at the carmaker’s factory.

Plant Tours

The tours of BMW’s American factory are scheduled on April 3, the day before the conference. The only BMW factory in America is an amazing blend of the latest in engineering and design aesthetics. During the guided plant tour, guests will see how a BMW vehicle is built.

There will be four tour batches of 80 guests each. Interested conference attendees will have to call 1–888-tourBMW (1–888–868–7269) for their reservations. Tour schedule will be based on a ‘first call/ first schedule basis.”

Stedman Graham, the CEO and chairman of S. Graham & Associates will be the keynote speaker. In addition to being a businessman, he is an educator, speaker and author of 11 books. Two of his books were included in the New York Times Best Sellers list.
