The software you need to know as a student!

We all have changed to the online mode for everything including our studies. All the schools, at most places, have changed their mode of teaching to online classes and much more!

This means that all the students have also been introduced to the online space. Being a student, I know how difficult it actually is to change from submitting notebooks for correction to the teacher by hand to making an online pdf and sending it through the mail.

Well, it has been about 2 years since I have been an online student and I have found some tools online which just makes something easier.

Brainly is an online platform to ask questions. Oftentimes, we don’t want to ask a lot of questions in the class to look dumb. This platform does the job! You can just type up the questions and 9/10 times, this website has the answer to your doubt.

You don’t even have to sign up to the website to look for your answer (if not accessing through phone). It also shows all the steps to reach the final answer which I find quite impressive.

Miro is an online website, where you can create your own whiteboards for brainstorming ideas, making notes, writing down to-do lists and much more. you can also collaborate with other members of your team or if you’re a student you can share your project with your other team members!

It has amazing features like sharing the whiteboard, sticky notes, text, commenting on others’ work and more. I find it extremely helpful as I created some charts to learn a piece of info in my Civics textbook. Creating whiteboards like such gives clarity about what you’re learning and understanding.

You might already know this software and what it does! (there are so many ads on YouTube). This is software that can correct your grammatical and spelling mistakes as well. You know that often we have a lot of mistakes in our writing. This tool can correct all your spelling and grammar mistakes; It also gives better synonyms of the words you right making your writing much more comprehensive.

When you visit their app or website, you can sign up, upload a document or just write on there. It automatically corrects all your mistakes. Grammarly works on word, docs, mail, chat and anywhere you type. After using this tool, neither you nor your teachers would have to read typos written by you anymore.

Lately, I have been thinking of starting a YouTube channel. And for this, you would, of course, need editing software and hence this software. Davinci Resolve is a free editing software where you can make and create your videos.

Resolve gives some really great effects which I have tried on some videos that I created. Surely, it is a bit complicated that Premiere Pro or Final Cut pro which are commonly used for editing but you obviously have to pay. Davinci Resolve provides a lot of effects for free and it saves a lot of money as well.
